GERMAN FRANZ HERMLE, 8 DAYS SHIPS BELL CLOCK IN GOOD CONDITION.(winding key is NOT included) This beautiful 8 day ships bell clock with a movement made in Western Germany, by Franz Hermle clock factory, and is ready to hang on your wall or on the bulkhead for your immediate enjoyment. Think of the money you will save on repairs when you buy a clock that runs. This expense can be costly. This clock is in good running condition, keeps excellent time. That alone should save you as buyer a lot of money. The movement keeps time and strikes ships bells. Sailors shift are defined by, the ships clock bells that strike a bell in sequence from 1 to 8 every four hours and then starts again. The bell is very pleasant on this clock, and it keeps good time. You are able to shut off the chime on the dial, at night if you want. The dial carries trace of use, but is in good condition. Nothing has been done with the casing, because some people like these clocks and barometers to show their patina, and it is in great condition.
