German WW2 Extremely Rare Jewish WW2 HOLOCAUST David yellow star with JOOD from Jewish Ghetto in HOLLAND For your viewing is a rare WW2 Jewish Ghetto's yellow David star patch . This rare WWII patch was used in the Ghetto's of Holland for Jewish . These Stars were made and issued by the Judenrat (Jewish council) in the Ghetto. There were several different types of stars. As you know you can find a lot of samples of Jewish armband, but EXTREMELY RARE to find star patches for Jewish . Dutch Jews were forced to wear a yellow badge shaped as a Star of David, with the word "Jood" in the center. As you know all Jews during WW2 wore armbands with the Star of David on them. In Germany with word JUDE, in France - JUIF, in Belgium - J, in Yugoslavia Z or ZIDOV, in Holland with JOOD (in our collection we have all of them and we will sell it soon).This particular patch passed very important test - it does not glow under the black lamp (all fabrics after 1945 glow under the black light) - please look at the image (for compare I put on the last image star which glow under a black lamp).The item is from a private museum "Jewish Memory". The owner of a museum is very sick and he wants to donate the items and to sell some of them. Unfortunately all particular information for this armband was missing.
