You are bidding on a vintage WWII german K98 bayonet off a mouser rifle. ser #6686 with a (h) and matching number on scabbard. 10" blade with 15 1/4 overall length. Unsharpened with all of bluing still on blade. Locking button is smooth and free. Bakelite grips have no cracks or chips just normal wear. screwed grips. Waffenampt marks on end of pommel and ball tip of scabbard. side of blade is marked CRS which indicates The Paul Weyersberg Solingen Co. Frog is the cavalry type with a strap for around the handle. # on frog back is RBNN 0/0550/0221 (I think as it is hard to see). Overall in very nice condition. A couple of dents in the back of the scabbard, no damage to blade, frog has wear but no tears and stitching is tight. A very nice matched German K98 That would be great in anyones collection.
