Just one of inkFrog's Creations :: Description No Reserve on this Scarce, Original, Antique Early 1900's Lehmann Kutsche (Coach) Motor Car No. 420 in the Original Box. Made in Germany. This toy is one of the first automobiles produced by Lehmann. These early petrol powered motor cars closely resemble the conventional horse drawn coaches. This piece is original, complete and in near mint condition. It works good and when wound, the toy can travel forward or in a circle which is controlled by changing the position of the front axle and locking it in place with the steering rod. Features all tin construction and hand painted driver. The early spindlepress Lehmann toy trademark is printed on both of the doors. The rear of the toy reads: Dr Patent DRGM Engl Patent. Measures 5" long x 4.25" high. The original illustrated box is complete and in near mint condition. The box lid features a paper label with an illustration of the actual toy and Directions for Use are printed in both English and German.
