This is a very nice example of the Prussian Black Eagle order. This Order was bestowed by the King of Prussia along with the title of Knighthood. It is massive in size, measuring 84 mm between the points of the star normally worn from a sash across the chest and waist.. It is constructed of silver guilt and is hallow. It is multi-part constructed with the medallion in the center being applied separately. The enamel on the arms has only minor surface scratches and no cracks.
