Beautiful Leitz Beh 7x50 German Navy binocular. Excellent condition mechanically and optically. Paint and leatherette in good shape, except for a ding on the objective lens ring, photo 9, and some paint loss on the left side prism cover, photo 7. Optics are very clean. No haze, fungus or prisms chips. A little internal dust and very small imperfections only. A notable exception is a spot of lens separation on the edge of the objective lens, photo 8.Image quality is exceptionally good. The Beh is of the Porro-Abbe prism design. Per side, it has three prisms cemented together, rather than two air-spaced prisms found in most binoculars. This design results in increased light transmission. The image viewed through this binocular is bright, color accurate, sharp, and very free of aberations. Collimation is accurate. The leather strap and button flap are reproductions made in the Czech Republic...perhaps more stout than the originals. Binocular does not have a case.Item will ship to a US or Canada address only.
