Description:

A Gevaert Gevabox box camera made in Germany which uses 120 roll film. Speed settings: 1/50, 1/100 & B. Aperture settings 11 & 16. It has a f=10.5/1:11 lens. On the side of the shutter there is a socket for flash. It has a metal body with black leatherette covering and plastic viewfinder and carry strap. To open the camera, the latch on the side is moved to the "O" position, and the opposite side of the camera will slide out. The camera is very 'Art Deco' in its styling, although it was actually produced in the 1950's. The camera comes with a dedicated leather case.

Condition / Defects:

The camera is in very good condition, very clean inside and out. The logo on the front has worn (caused by the press-stud on the case!), and there are tiny spots of missing black paint around the edges of the camera and scratch marks on the opening latch. The front panel of the leather case is splitting (and might soon fall apart!).

IMPORTANT : I have a basic understanding of vintage cameras, but I am not an expert. I examine the cameras and any accessories thoroughly and any defects are mentioned, but the camera has not been tested with film and therefore, I cannot guarantee that it is in full working order. By bidding on this item you are accepting these terms.
