I bought this used several years ago. GHQ custom painted boiler shell and tender shell from kit to use with the Concor J3 Hudson locomotive and tender. This particular loco was done using the older Kato drive Concor Hudson. The Kato drive Hudsons are about the smoothest running steam locos Con Cor ever released and this one is no exception. The "loop" coupler on the tender where it couples to the hook on the loco is broken but can easily be repaired with scrap plastic or you could possibly order a Hudson tender chassis from Concor to fix it. I have included a close-up of the coupler. There is also a loose piece shown in some of the pictures that looks sort of like the frame on a passenger car diaphragm. It looks like it is supposed to be attached to the front or rear of the tender. Also included is the original Con Cor box. The kit currently costs $129 at GHQ and you still have to buy a Concor J3 Hudson to complete the kit. If you do not like the paint job on this loco and tender you can strip off the paint and repaint and most likely you'll be out less than money than if you bought a new GHQ kit and a used Con Con J3 Hudson.
