Blown three mold Flint glass hat Whimsey, Sandwich Glassworks Circa 1825Listed in McKearin as GIII.23, Heavy, wonky flared bim and pontil scared base. Unfortunatly a small hole in the center of the pontil has 2 3/4" lines steming from it. Allmost certainly done at the time of manufacture, with its outstanding color, even damaged someone saw fit to keep this example from the trash pile.
