Goebel Kneeling Nativity Camel with original box This auction is for one Goebel Nativity Camel. It is part of the Hummel Nativity set. The camel is simply beautiful. It is white porceline with a clear glaze. You can display it alone or as part as the Hummel set. The camel's demensions are: 9" long x 3 1/2" wide x 5-1/2" high. The model number imprinted in the underbelly reads: 46 820 12. It also bears the Hummel trademark. The right hind leg bares the number "7". This item is in excellent conditon with no chips, no chinks in the glaze, completely white and all markings are legible. After being displayed, it has been kept wrapped and boxed. The camel is in its original sold condition. As a reference you can read the background of the story within Robert Miller's 10th ed. of Hummel on page 540. Another great Hummel Goebel reference book that I keep handy is Warman's M.I. Hummel Field Guide. It's the official M.I. Hummel Guide.
