And, when seeing off, a lot of flags are hoisted. This flag is "Shussei-ki" when translating into Japanese. This going to war flag is a design of the rising-sun flag. It is a very long type. The meaning of the Chinese character is taught. From the top, "Syuku Syussei" = Congratulation going to war. "JinTyu HouKoku" = Devotion and patriotism "Tanzawa Takayuki Kun"= Soldier's name.
