A GREAT 18TH C DOCUMENT BOX IN ITS ORIGINAL UNTOUCHED WINDSOR GREEN PAINTDescriptionA WONDERFUL LATE 18TH OR EARLY 19TH CENTURY NEW ENGLAND FLAT TOP DOCUMENT BOX RETAINING ITS ORIGINAL DARK WINDSOR GREEN PAINTED SURFACE AND PATINA.New England, Circa 1780 - 1820 in Pine.WONDERFUL HAND CUT DOVETAILS THROUGHOUT WITH NICE EARLY HAND WROUGHT NAILS.FANTASTIC UNTOUCHED AND GRUNGY DARK WINDSOR GREEN PAINTED DECORATION.THE PAINT IS COMPLETELY UNTOUCHED.IT HAS ITS ORIGINAL WROUGHT IRON LOCK AND ITS ORIGINAL HINGES BUT THE HASP IS MISSING.THE CONDITION IS WONDERFUL.
