DescriptionThis is a very nice antique 19th Century Japanese smoking set that includes a lacquered, woven Kiseruzutsu (pipe holder), Kiseru (pipe), a well carved Ojime bead, and a leather tobacco pouch with a great metal clasp depicting a boat sailing on the water loaded with fish and other materials.Likely dating from the Meiji period, the kiseruzutsu shows signs of wear commensurate with age, along with a small 1/4" hole on the underside of one panel.
