Hi, Up for auction is this Authentic Native American Great Basin Cougar Mountain Point. It's made with Opaque Gray Obsidian. It's about 3" long and about 3/4" wide. Because of ancient resharpenings it's a smaller then average example but it still is nice & exhibits classic form. Authenticated by Ben Stermer. Included old shell beads. This is a great item for starting or adding to a collection or for using in arts & crafts such as frames, painting, baskets, jewelry, etc. Or just for testing. Use your imagination. Guaranteed 100% AUTHENTIC!! They are from my husband's grandmother's collection that we call the Harriot Young Collection. T will be more from collection so be watching. Most of these are from Northern California & South Eastern Oregon. A part of what is known as The Great Basin or Far West. Our hope is that these will go to someone who appreciates them and their history as much as we do. We don't claim to be experts on what the individual pieces are called so if anyone wants to correct me please feel free to do so.
