'The Great Beast' - a very rare copy of this early Crowley Biography (1st Ed. 1st Impression 1951) It is by John Symonds, who met Crowley a year before his death and later became his literary executor. The copy itself is a fine reading copy. The dustjacket is in very bad condition, being held together with tape and cellphane. However, it's presence does add a lot to the character of the book. It is very striking. I have never seen another copy of this with a dustjacket so it is a good thing to have at all. This is a pretty rare copy for collectors of the Occult and Crowleyana....
