The not is relatively lightly circulated, predominately clean and crisp with no holes or tears of any kind, 3x vertical folds and other mostly light handling features. [b] GREAT BRITAIN – 1 POUND [ND-1940-48, P-367a, sign K.O. Peppiat] Seated Britannia at upper left. Paper with security thread. The note is circulated edge nicks and edge wear top border + several small tears of which the largest is 1mm at ctr., edge nicks and tiny tears right border, edge nicks and tiny tears bottom border of which the largest is 1mm at ctr., several tiny tears left border of which the largest is 2mm, 2x staple folds in upper left field + 2x tiny pinholes along the vertical crease line, staining. [c] GREAT BRITAIN / BRITISH MILITARY AUTHORITY – 1 Shilling [ND-1943, M2] Lion on crown device. The note is circulated, top borer has edge wear + 2mm tear at commencement of vertical crease line, several tiny tears bottom border mostly concentrated at ctr. of which the largest is 1mm, edge nicks and wear left border, no holes, some corner rounding.
