Great Northern 569 SD-7 Proto 2000 DCC Ready Weatd (8096). This is an later run that is DCC ready. The body shell is on the chassis and is weatd. This heavy duty first generation diesel is without dynamic brakes and with directional lighting. General Motors Electro-Motive Division built over 180 of these 1500 HP engines between 1952-3. The locomotives were equipped with 16 cylinder GM 567B diesel engines. Diesel spotter not that classification lights are set well inside of the edge of the hood (the later SD-9’s the lights are near the edge). The model comes with original box and is shown with both sides in the image. Please allow $9 for insured domestic delivery. Please no layaways on plastic lots.
