This is a beautiful example of Fenton's Thistle pattern in green base glass with marigold iridescence. It's about 9" in diameter and 2 ½" high and has good color and iridescence. As the backlit photo shows, t's some wear to the carnival finish around the edge but the color on the rest of the bowl is still quite good. The carnival color on the outside is mostly gold. The inside has a colorful mix of gold, rose, purple, teal, etc. My lousy photography has managed to pick up some of this, but not nearly as much as t is. The finish is also shinier than it shows. I'll try to get some better pictures later. This piece has no chips, cracks, or other problems.
