This is a beautiful etched depression glass comport...... Produced by the wonderful Paden City Glass Company in the 1930's ....... The pattern is "Cupid " or line #300 and can refer to it in "Collector's Encyclopedia of Depression Glass"...... by Gene & Cathy Florence..... Has a gorgeous lime green color that picks up the light beautifully....... This also glows brightly under the blacklight........ This comport measures 6" tall and 8" wide ........ Has a simple panelled pattern glass that has a beautiful etching of two cherubs with rope flowers decorating a urn........ This etching is done on the underside of the bowl...... T are two etchings one on each side....... Has the wonderful Paden City rippled stem ......... The foot on this measures 3.75" wide..... This comport is so elegant and has lots of ways to be used............... This is a pattern that is very hard to come by..... this pattern does not come out of collections often, they are becoming harder to locate........ The condition is very good........T are no chips or cracks ....... T is no staining in the glass......the base has no wear........... T is some very light storage wear ........
