Griffin Smith and Hill Etruscan Majolica Pottery Shell and Seaweed Coffee Pot.This pot was made by Griffin Smith and Hill and it dates from the 1880's.This piece measures 6 3/4" high to the top of the finial on the cover and it is 10" from the tip of the spout to the outside of the handle. The detail of the design is excellent and the pink color is dark and rich. It is marked on the bottom with the Etruscan mark. Striking piece with great color. The condition of this piece is very good. There are no chips and no cracks. The cover was cracked into two pieces and I had it professionally restored. I cannot see where this was done. I will combine items when possible to save shipping costs. Let me know if there are other things that interest you and I will be happy to accommodate your needs.
