Grindley Aldine flow blue England 39 piece lot I'd originally listed many of these pieces individually or in smaller lots with no success. So I've repacked all thirty-nine pieces into one large box and am offering them at a discounted price. Please read the condition descriptions below. Included are: FIVE CUPS - Five Cups - Three have a small chip on the bottom of the foot (One cups chip is so tiny it can really only be felt.) One of these two cups also has a small blackened factory glaze pop on the inside (see close up photo). Four of the cups have quite good gold detail while one (it's one with tiny minor chip on bottom mentioned earlier) shows a bit noticable gold wear. None of the cups have crazing. Five Saucers - All five are in very good condition with only minor self wear. No chips, cracks or crazing. TEN SAUCERS - 5 3/4" diameter, each is in good, gently used vintage condition. They've got very minor utensil wear and very minor gold loss. They appear to have not been used alot. SMALL OVAL SERVING PLATTER - 12 1/2" x 8 3/4" - Condition - 1.) This platter does have quite a bit of utensil wear. 2.) There's a line of "flowing blue" that appears out of place and 3.) about 2 1/4" to the left of that flowing blue line is a small flake on the outer rim of this platter. (see close up photo). All that said, the flake chip on the outer isn't that noticable and is pretty smooth to the touch. GRAVY BOAT with UNDERPLATE - The gravy boat measures approximately 8 1/2" long and 4 1/4" to the top of the handle. The underplate is 9" by 5". The only flaws I see are a tiny manufacturing glaze pop on the inside edge of the gravy boat at the spout area. Also, I can feel a little light roughness on one side of the spout. Upon magnification I see that there are two tiny flake like chips on the outer edge of one side of the spout. Without magnifying, I wouldn't have seen these. (See close up photo). And lastly, there is quite a bit of gold loss on the underplate and a small flake chip on the outer rim of the underplate. Part of this flake is glazed over making wonder if this is a factory flaw. NINE FRUIT / DESSERT / SAUCE BOWLS - All are in overall very good, clean condition with some gold loss and light utensil wear. I see no chips, cracks or crazing on these bowls. TWELVE 8 3/4" LUNCHEON or possibley SALAD PLATES - All have light utility wear and some have more gold loss than the others. Nearly all have some crazing, one of which is severe crazing. Two plates have tiny rim chips are on the top outer rim. Three plates have minor chip on the bottom outer rims. They are tiny, but needed to be mentioned. One plate has a lighter blue pattern than the others, simply how it was made. One plate has a pin head size darkened spot on the inner white portion.
