A pair of Capodimonte porcelain figurines of Vatican Swiss Guard soldiers as visualized by Guido Cacciapuoti. The soldiers are about 12” tall, and are in excellent condition with no faults. Hard to find, these were distributed by Goebel, theCacciapuoti signature isincised on the base.Guido Cacciapuoti, 1892-1953 (Italian School) Cacciapuoti along with his brothers, father and grandfather had a long family history of making ceramic sculptures in gres. He is considered the best Italian animalist of the 19th Century. Please ask any questions prior to entering a bid.I will combine multiple purchases to save on shipping.
