is a set of six adorable dinner plates made exclusively for Williams-Sonoma in the 1990's. They are Skating Chefs by Guy Buffet. Each white china plate measures 10 7/8" in diameter and has a thick green band border and thin green band inside the rim of the plate. The plates are microwave & dishwasher safe. They are made of fine porcelain and made in Germany . Each plate tells of the skating chef on back. Plate 1 - "Gliding across the ice, Yves displays his contribution to the lavish holiday buffet." Plate 2 - "Holiday sweets in hand, Pierre makes a quick dash to the dining room." Plate 3 - "While perfecting his balancing act, Henri serves the champagne." Plate 4 - "Jacques executes an elegant spin before carving the holiday ham." Plate 5 - "With a graceful flourish, Phillipe presents the soup course." Plate 6 - "With his scarf trailing behind him, Jean-Lue skillfully presents the main course." The plates come in the original box. I found them in the back of my buffet and forgot I even had them. I purchased these in the 1990's from Williams-Sonoma and used them one year at Christmas. I just flat forgot I had them and I have too many other dishes so I am thinning out my buffet. These are very heavy plates and I do package well with plenty of bubble wrap and peanuts. I will also include free insurance on this package. Buyer
