This very hard to find Hagen Renaker Seagull Cove was designed by Maureen Love, issued between Fall 1976 - Fall 1977, production model # A-995. It measures 6" x 4-1/2" (15 cm x 11.9 cm). The colors are a pale yellow/cream, dark bluish green, and grey. It comes with 4 seagulls --- which are described below -- all of which were designed by Maureen Love and are also no longer in production: - The first is a landing Seagull , issued between Fall 1976 - Fall 1982, production model # A-988. It is 7/8" (2.2 cm) high and is mounted in the Cove. - The second is a swimming Seagull , issued between Fall 1976 - Spring 1978, production model # A-987. It is 5/8" (1.6 cm) high and is also mounted in the Cove. - The third and fourth are flying Seagulls, issued between Fall 1976 - Fall 1982, production model # A-989. Each has a wingspan of approximately 2" (5.1 cm). These are mounted on wires and are not glued to the Cove, although there are holes for these wires in the Cove. These figurines are neither damaged nor have they been repaired, with the exception that under the flying seagulls, there is a tiny bit of chipping where the wire connects into their undersides. On the cove, where the 2 flying seagulls' wires are placed into the holes, there is a pea-sized area around each hole which has no glaze. They appear to be locations for which floating read more
