This auction is for a fantastic vintage bottle of Haig & Haig Scotch. It dates to the early 1960's and had NEVER been opened! Not only is the seal and the revenue label intact, the original wire mesh is also intact, except that one of the wires broke at some point. The labeling is complete, with no paper loss and no writing.....just some darkening due to age. T is no damage to the lead foil. T are no chips or cracks to the glass bottle. My Dad purchased two of these many, many years ago.....not long after I was born. He tucked them away for safe keeping, always saying that they would not be opened until I got married. Well, I married in 1983 and this bottles mate was opened at that time. No longer married, and not seeing any reason to hold onto this any longer, I feel that this will make a wonderful addition to someone's bottle collection. I doubt that you will see something like this made available every day. This is not a bottle being sold by a liquor store from some warehouse find that has recently come to market. This is simply a bottle lovingly tucked away by my father, and one which has been tucked away by me as well.
