Hallmarked Silver Art Deco MAPPIN & WEBB Enamel & Marcasite Powder Compact c1930 Stylish Art Deco hallmarked silver powder compact made by Mappin & Webb Ltd and dating to the 1930s. Front cover is decorated with marcasite stones and red enamel - very Deco Cartier looking design. Measuring 2.75" square, this piece weighs 66.8 grams. This piece does require some restoration - the mirror is cracked and there are some marcasite stones missing - but otherwise this is in good condition and will polish up beautifully.
