You are looking at a small antique sterling silver brooch or pin made by Adie & Lovekin, Ltd. in Birmingham in 1925. That is what the hallmarks mean according to the website. This little 7/8” heart-shaped brooch is highly detailed, featuring a silver thistle flower with purple faceted gem top - I'm pretty sure it is a natural amethyst, and polished banded agate pieces around the borders of the heart. A little Scottish Celtic treasure! No damage or flaws. The pin on back is straight and the catch is a simple “C” type. Make this lovely brooch yours if your heart is in Scotland or your roots are Celtic! Spend some money! Help our economy and enhance the value of your jewelry collection at the same time!
