The Hamlet. William Faulkner. First Printing. VG/VG-. True First printing of Faulkner's first installment of his Snopes trilogy. Boars clean with some rubbing and fading to letter on spine Interior clean with no previous owner's marks and some darkening along gutter. Jacket is second state with Intruder in the Dust as the last title on back panel and $3.50 price, which would date the jacket around 1948. Jacket has small chips at corners and spine ends and wear along edges but is still presentable.
