This is a beautiful, round "squat" hand blown glass vase by Glass Forge Studio of Grant's Pass, Oregon. The outside of the vase is a rainbow of blue and green colors with accents of white, the inside is predominately white, and the rim edge is black. The vase measures 8" tall, 5 1/2" from the outside edge of the lip across with a 2 3/4" opeining. The bottom is 3 1/2" across and 6" wide at the shoulder. The measurements are approximate but very close. The bottom of the vase is signed and dated 2007. This was an Art Dealer piece and has not been used. The Glass Forge was started by three men who met in the San Francisco Bay area while working at various well-known glass studios during the 1990's: Lee Wassink (Nourot Studios), Maurice Kreuzer (Smyers Studio), and Nathan Sheafor (Albo Glass). Each brings unique skills to the Glass Forge, creating outstanding American craftsmanship in glass. The Glass Forge Studio opened Memorial Day 1998. This is a "No Reserve" auction.
