*** SKI SLOPE *** HAND PAINTED ~ HAND LETTERED DIRECTIONAL SIGN This "Ski Slope" sign is hand painted on an old piece of pine board that measures overall 22.5 inches wide x 9.25 inches high x .75 inch thick. T he letters are hand painted and aren't meant to be perfect---like old hand lettered signs but still neat and tidy. Acrylic paints were used to paint the sign. The pine wood has that worn and weathered character that only old wood has and so the wood was left natural for the background. The Ski Slope lettering and the arrow are painted in black acrylic with off-white shadowing. Tiny intricate hand-painted snowflakes are sprinkled over the sign . The painted sign was further "distressed & aged" and finished off with two coats of polyurethane for protection. The sign has attached hardware and is ready to hang.
