SILVER DOUBLE MOUNTED HANDMADE SPURS BY LONGTIME FORD TEXAS SPUR MAKER DON ROGERS.

THIS IS PROBALLY MY FAVORITE PAIR OF SPURS I HAVE RUN ACROSS THIS YEAR.SOUTHWESTERN MOTIF WITH GREAT DETAIL WORK.THE ARROWHEADS ARE HAMMERED SILVER AND LOOK ALMOST REAL,THE FEATHERS HAVE AWESOME DETAIL AND THE BRONZE EAGLE HEAD ON THE SPUR BUTTONS IS A VERY NICE TOUCH.

I LIKE ARROW SHANKS BUT I HAVE NEVER SEEN ONE THIS REAL.THE BRONZE ARROW WITH SILVER FEATHER AND HAMMERED SILVER ARROWHEAD ARE SO LIFE LIKE.EVEN THE ROWELS HAVE VERY NICE ENGRAVING.

MEASUREMENTS ARE HEELBAND OPENING 3 1/4",HEELBANDS 1 1/4",SHANKS 2 1/2",AWESOME ROWELS1 3/4".

DON'S WORK IS FEATURED IN "BITS AND SPURS,MOTIFS,TECHNIQUES AND MODERN MAKERS" BY NED AND JODY MARTIN.HIS WORK IS VERY COLLECTIBLE.
