This is a pair of used steel ladies or youth spurs made by Sims Spur Company located in Bandera , Texas. Sims Spur Company is listed in Old Cowboy Saddles & Spurs by Gretchen & Mike Graham. The spurs are marked Sims-R inside both heel bands and are also marked under the swinger on the outside of one heel band. The spurs have a dark iron finish and nickel silver button covers on all four buttons. There is some play in the rowels but they have a lot of use left in them. This would be a nice set of spurs to use or to add to a collection.
