Rare and hard to find Hull Pottery Camellia 103 8 1/2" vase with manufacturer incised number 4 on bottom. ** According to Brenda Roberts' book on Hull Pottery, which was published in 2005, the value is listed as $165 - $205. Though having the number 4 incised on the bottom it may be worth more! This vase is in excellent condition. I am selling as found and not washed or cleaned. Here are a few details about it. This is an estate item and it's been in our family since bought new in the 1940's. The rim of the bottom shows some dirt where it's been sitting on the table for years. I'm sure it can be cleaned but I'll leave that up to the buyer. There is some "dirt" on the inside. Probably from the faux flowers that have been in it over so many years. It too can probably be cleaned. There are some very small bubbles from the manufacturing process in one spot. They are hard to notice but they are there, see photo with circle. There is an incised number 4 on the bottom. This could be an identification of the artist, potterer, production number or something else. It is light blue on top and light pink on bottom. It is actually a bit more pastel than the photos show. The bottom has a slight hump on one side. This makes the vase rock a little and was done during manufacturing. There are NO chips, crazing, cracks or other problems that I can read more
