NO RESERVE --This doll is MINT in its original box with all certificates, accessories and doll stand. This is Wendy Lawton's doll, "Courage to Run" which is part of Lawton's 2002 series of dolls "Daughters of the Faith." Lawton designed this doll to depict a young Harriet Tubman wearing a checked homespun dress, straw hat and carrying a patchwork quilt. The doll is 11 inches tall . It has a porcelain body . It is limted edtion number 150 of 350 dolls made. This doll was made at Lawton's studio in California , before they started making some of their other dolls in China. The original retail price of the doll was $695.00 . It was part of Lawton's Connoisseur Collection for advanced doll collectors. Included is a doll stand, an unopened packet of Lawton doll postcards, a certificate of authenticity signed by Wendy Lawton, and a fictional book about Harriet Tubman, also written by Wendy Lawton.
