HERE IS WHY I FEEL I HAVE TO LIST MY ITEMS THIS WAY: I try very hard to be as honest with people as I know how to be. I do not want to misrepresent the items I am selling, nor do I want to complete a deal where my buyer feels they somehow got cheated. This is why I say that what you see in the picture is what I am selling. I am doing my very best to check everything as I list it, but I have hundreds ( no longer thousands ) of items to sell and I am going to make mistakes - especially since I'm not as sharp as I once was. It would probably help if people would remember that these were my personal collection. I intended to build them someday, so I have opened and looked at many of them ( I'm sure you do the same thing ). Also, because of who I am, I have never been one to inventory everything I buy because I figure I can just make whatever might be broken or missing. So I am probably over trusting of the people I have bought items from in the past. This means that it is possible that I will sell something I honestly believe is complete but something in the item is actually missing or broken. I am trying to check everything as I take pictures, but like I said, I am human: I make mistakes.If I do make a mistake with an item you buy, I beg you to grant that it was an honest mistake. If you will just contact me, I'm sure we can work something out - as long as you are not one of those who think a single mistyped stroke means I should just GIVE you my item AND pay to ship it to you ( yes, I have had this happen - more than once ). It may be naive of me, but I would like to receive the same courtesy and respect that I do my best to extend to my customers. I'm just trying to get out of this hobby cleanly. I do not want to leave people behind me who harbor bad feeling toward me because they feel I cheated them. The 'inside' of this hobby has far too much of that and I simply do not wish to be among those ranks. I also ask that you pay for your auctions within 3 days of winning. Unfortunately, EBay will only allow payments to be made by PayPal, so we are all stuck using it if we want to buy/sell here.
