Haviland Limoges Porcelain Coffee Pot Teapot You are bidding on a beautiful coffee/tea pot with an impressed H & Co mark dating the piece to 1865 -1875 (According to Collector's Encyclopedia of Limoges Porceain, 3rd Edition, M.F. Gaston, ed., p. 178, mark #5). The pot is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or crazing; in fact, the only flaws I can find are original imperfections in the glaze and minor shelf wear on the base. The decoration (gold rings on lid and body as well as gold accents to handle and molded rope pattern on handle and lid; a single wide blue band on both body and lid: two hues.) is in very good condition: some wear to gold trim on lid, handle and mouth of body as well as minor wear to blue band on body. The pot stands about 8 3/4" tall with lid and measures approximately 5 1/2" in diameter at its widest point. Please do not hesitate to ask questions.
