~~~ Haviland Limoges 1889-1931 ~~~ Our oval Serving Bowl with Matching Lid is antique Limoges porcelain manufactured by Haviland in France during the late 1800s or very early 1900s. This is a fabulous set in superior antique condition ~ absolutely free of chips, cracks, repairs or excessive wear. It has been well cared for and is gorgeous in person!! ~ WE HAVE OTHER #72 SERVING ITEMS IN SEPARATE AUCTIONS ~ The Haviland Limoges pattern known as Schleiger #72 is one of the most popular patterns Haviland ever created. Even though production ceased more than 75 years ago, it remains a favorite among collectors. The chintz-like design is stunningly elegant. Mauve roses and colorful blossoms decorate the bowl and lid. Note the double gold-gilt accents. The handles, finneal, and "feet" really make this lovely pattern sparkle! This set measures about 9 inches from handle to handle and is about 7 inches wide. The bowl is about 3 inches deep without its lid. We are offering this Cassarole with NO Reserve!
