Hawaiian Dorothy Okumoto Porcelain Bud Vase Triangular Cross Section with Plumeria Blossoms Mid Century Modern High Style 11" tall 1 of 2 ListedThis bone porcelain vase with clear glaze was made by the late Hawaiian ceramicist Dorothy Okumoto (1915-1995). The exquisitely delicate hand-applied Plumeria flower reliefs are found throughout Okumoto's work, which is highly prized by collectors for their graceful, sweeping lines punctuated by clusters of these flowers. The Plumeria is the flower traditionally used for making Hawaiian lei's. Signed by the artist "Dorothy Okumomo / Hawaii Porcelain" on the bottom
