Fine Heavy Barbini Murano Venetian Vintage Italian Art Glass Fish Lamp Base NR. Condition is "Used". Shipped with USPS Priority Mail.Lovely and stunning Barbini Art Glass Vintage fish (originally a lamp base, marketed through Camer Glass, a New York importer of fine Venetian Murano glass in the 50s, importing and re-branding from the finest post-war Muranese masters, including Seguso, Barovier, Barbini, etc). This stands 13 3/4 inches tall, weighs nearly 4 pounds, in very good condition, clean, nearly antique, certainly vintage, pre-MCM. Has the most interesting sommerso (submerged) combination of subtle earth/ocean colors and patterns, including bubbles (bullicante) and gold aventurine, sitting on a unique deep black base with more bubbles. Label states: Made in Italy. Camer Glass. New York. Venice. Clean good condition. One of the nicest Barbini fish I've seen, you might agree.
