HEISEY No. 1401 EMPRESS PATTERN SAHARA COLOR DOLPHIN FOOTED CREAM AND SUGAR This auction is for an elegant sugar bowl and matching creamer. They were made by the Heisey Glass Company of Newark , Ohio between 1930 and 1938. Heisey called the pattern EMPRESS NO. 1401 and this set was made in the Sahara (golden yellow) color and this set has the more desireable Dolphin Feet. Both pieces are signed with the Heisey H inside the diamond on the inside of one foot. The condition is excellent with no chips, cracks, fleabites, or wear. The Dolphin footed style is the larger table size and they measure about 3 1/2 inches tall and about 5 inches across the handles. This will make a great addition to an Heisey Empress set or other elegant collection. Thanks for your interest.
