this was 1 of several items used to decorated our sons room in a speedway theme, we saw this old looking helmet cover so decided to get it, had a shock when the guy who we got it from kindly informed us not till after we purchased it that it was given to ivan mauger whilst he was riding for belle vue aces, if i remember the gentleman was a mechanic for him at the time, he was given i beleave 2 of which one is this one , i was shocked to see the condition of it almost looked brand new, the gentleman commented not many guys got infront of him hence not much dirt on it (laugh), we got an old model head my hubby painted it put an old neckercheif around the mouth, then got his white open face helmet to put it on , the open face was one my hubby use to wear it has a black peak with a plastic clear face guard that does flip up , kept in his show cabinet,moving now the only reason for selling, please see other signed speedway items all being sold, thanks for looking, items will be sent recorded delivery if not satisfied will refund as long as the item arrives back as sent.
