. Up For Sale Is This HERALDIC ART MEDAL, It isnumber 12 in Bob MacNamara's classic "So Called Half Dollar" series. This was issued in 1962 to CELEBRATE THE "GOLDEN ANNIVERSARY" of the Girl Scouts! It is graded and encapsulated by NGC as an GEM MS-65. The surfaces are original, this medal has not been dipped or cleaned. It is a gem with a silvery flash with pristine surfaces. The scarcity of these medals, the declared mintage's was in 6,000 range. The melt offs of the late 1970's and today have reduced the numbers available for this variety to less than 1,000. The value and up side potential is substantial; this example is priced at $85.00. A "COPY" of the original marketing sheet and the Bob MacNamara's 2 X 2 are included.
