THE DECORATION TYPE "ETON" HAS TO BE CHARACTERIZED AS FOLLOWING: The pattern situated in the middle area of the Eton decoration type is consisting of a stylized peony of excellent shape. The colour shades are influenced by decorative pattern of the so called Famille Rose category of Chinese porcelain, w the shades of a peony were multiple used colours. The peony was the queen of flowers in the Far East / it symbolizes richness, nobility, love and female beauty. The ETON PATTERN is characterized by leaves and buds, surrounded by scattered sprigs of blossom. The slightly scalloped edged areas are painted in gold. The Eton decor is made by ND in six colour variants.
