This tablespoon is a beautiful example of the work of eighteenth-century silversmith Hester Bateman. It is in excellent condition with crisp, clear marks showing the letter date (lower-case "i" for 1784), the lion passant (for English sterling), crowned leopard's head (London), and her mark (HB). The spoon is 8 1⁄4 inches long. No monogram. Please email with any questions. See my other Hester Bateman tablespoon listing this week!
