A rare Hester Bateman silver wine funnel. This is a 2 part funnel with spout and waste bowl. Condition of waste bowl is good with 2 shallow dents. The funnel has smaller dents and the tip looks rather rough. Hallmarks are rubbed(see pics), but 'HB' in script is clearly legible. The funnel fits tightly onto the bowl. The decoration is classicly simple with just a small bead pattern at the base of the funnel. I can see no family crests. Height: 5.5" diamter of waste bowl excluding small handle is 3.25" Weight: 76g .99p start and no reserve. Postage costs are for special delivery with insurance up to £500 and tracking.
