Morrell 1866-67), first edition, limited edition of 260 copies, 6 1/4" x 9 1/4" tall half leather bound, red leather spine and tips and black boards, four raised bands to spine, gilt lettering and decoration to spine, yellow endpapers, marbled page edges, silk ribbon marker sewn in, iv, 663, 746pp. Rubbing, bumping and edgewear to covers, especially at tips. A bit of foxing, especially to prelims in both volumes. Otherwise, a very good+ set of this scarce issue A comprehensive catalogue of all the plays performed in New York between 1750 and 1860 with copious notes about productions, players, related theatrical events and full cast-lists.
