Big Dawg Originals The auction price of $30.00 each is our introductory price until March 1st and then our new prices go into effect March 2nd due to costs going up for materials and the new website coming on line sometime in March. About Us : Our mission is to provide highly detailed Ho and N scale train shells and parts to the hobby. We make mostly items that are suggested to us by you the modeler. We build our masters from prints and pictures from Railroad Archives and other sources on the web. We try to be as correct as we can and sometimes I have to make adjustments so the shell will fit a chassis. Sometimes minor changes may have to be made to your chassis for clearance and for best performance. I make my shells and parts with commercial grade polyurethane that can handle a reasonable amount of heat that an engine motor can generate. My process allows me to make my shells with minor flash ( tissue type mainly in windows of cabs ) that will cleanup with little effort. I do not use much if any mold release , but I still recommend a rinse of solvent like minerial spirits with a tooth brush to assure any oils from your hands , etc. to insure best paint adhesion.
