US Hobbies O scale brass Southern Pacific 4-8-4 class GS-4. This is a 2-rail O scale model. Sturdy, quality KTM (Japan) construction.Very nice condition but previous owner made a few changes I must mention. (1) Small hinged upper plate between rear of cab and tender removed. Not included. (2) Extra hole drilled in drawbar. (3) Stock electrical connection replaced with wire looped under front of tender and rear of engine presumably to resemble hose connections found on the prototype. This was tested with power direct to wires under cab and mechanism ran very smoothly. Also ran forward and reverse when tested on track with tender and engine connected. Three turbo generators indicates model is from the last run of this engine. (Around 1975-76.) Locomotive has factory mounted side skirts. (A few units from this run had side skirts included but not mounted.) Very little wheel wear. Weight is included but not mounted in boiler. Will actually ship better this way. No original box but engine,tender and weight will each be packed carefully and securely for shipping. PayPal preferred and no returns please. Thank you.
