This auction features this wonderful old Homan Quadruple Plate victorian dresser set with Heisy glass jars in great condition!! This great old set includes the full size hand mirror, large hair brush, one clothes brush a powder jar and hair receiver. All the pieces boast a beautiful engraved design with NO MONOGRAMS. The brush bristles on both the hairbrush and clothes brush are soft and supple with minor signs of usage. The mirror measures 11 1/2 x 6 1/2 and is rather heavy and is marked The Homan Mfg Co, The mirror glass is in excellent condition; no marks crazing, the clothes brush measures 7 1/4 inches long and is unmarked but the design is an exact match to the other pieces. the powder jar measures 4 1/2 inches diameter and the lid is marked Homan Mfg quadruple plate special H metal #5060 and the glass bottom is Heisy with an H in a diamond, the hair receiver is the same 4 1/2 inches diameter and the lid is marked Homan Mfg quadruple plate special H metal #5060 and the glass bottom is Heisy with an H in a diamond. The hair brush measures 9 inches long and boasts soft bristles; the handle has a pinch in the center and a small crack at the side of the pinch. I have not attempted to clean this beautiful old set; I am leaving that up to the descretion of the buyer because some love the old patina. Winning bidder pays actual 6 lbs read more
