First made in 1908, Homer Laughlin's Hudson shape is a white china usually decorated in gold, as this 8 inch covered casserole is. If not a hundred years old, this casserole is close to it. It is 8 inches long and 6 inches wide and 2 inches deep. It's lid is marked with the deocoration number H 9 4 in gold underneath the lid. I would estimate it still has 90% of its elegant gold decorative trim intact, no nicks, no chips, no cracks. No browning inside, some on the bottom. It is bottom stamped Homer Laughlin Hudson and the numbering is "? (I can't make it out) 3 L.
